Inter boss: Maicon and Lucio not 'finished'

Recently appointed Inter Milan boss Andrea Stramaccioni believes that star Brazilians Lúcio and Maicon are still capable of performing at the highest levels.

Lúcio, 33, and Maicon, 30, have received criticism for some of their performances this season, with many observers believing that the pair are starting to show their age.

At a press conference on Tuesday, though, Stramaccioni was defient over his star's performance levels: "The performances of Lucio, Maicon and Sneijder prove they aren't finished."

Despite their poor season, Internazionale still have a chance of qualification for next season's Champions League, lying in 5th spot overall.
