Neymar – Brazil can win the 2014 World Cup

Santos forward Neymar has insisted that Brazil can win the 2014 World Cup.

The five-time world champions, who will play hosts to footballs most prestigous competition in two years time, were recently labeled as 'crap' by former Selecão great, Romario, following a disappointing performance against Bosnia and Herzegovina in February.

However, Neymar claimed in an interview with Marilia Gabriela that Brazil are currently going through a transition period.

''We are creating an identity,'' the 20-year-old said. ''By the time the 2014 World Cup comes around, we will be ready to be champions.''
