Redknapp hails Sandro performance in Tottenham win

Sandro, 23, had been going through a rough-patch of form but, in the absence of Scott Parker, turned-in a top class performance to boos the midfield.

“I thought Sandro was fantastic today,” Redknapp said. “That first half performance was amazing. [He’s got] power and strength. He’s absolutely top class.”

The former-Internacional midfielder enjoyed a brilliant end to his first season in London, but following injury, has struggled to perform at times during this second campaign.

His task though has not been helped by the purchase of England midfielder Parker, who occupies a very similar role to the Brazilian segundo-volante.
