Barcelona target Thiago Silva wants Olympic dream

Thiago Silva, 25, would be eligible as one of three over-23 players allowed in the squad and as Seleção captain, would be an automatic pick if available.
"This is the dream of every player because the Olympics is the only title Brazil are missing," Thiago told Swide.
"I am available to the coach if he wants to bring me to the Olympics in London. I will go with pleasure."
Looking ahead to the 2014 World Cup, the Milan defender could not hide his delight at the thought of guiding Brazil through a victorious World Cup campaign in his own country.
"It's exciting because we need to win this title in our own country. We are working on this and working all day to get to the 2014 World Cup in the right form because it’s a dream for all of us Brazilians to win the World Cup at home.
"For us, football is our life. We live football; we breathe football. That's what makes the Brazilian people happy."
Only yesterday, Thiago Silva was linked with a big-money move to Barcelona this summer to head-up the new Tito Vilanova era.
