Thiago Silva linked with Barça revolution

AC Milan and Brazil centre-back Thiago Silva is a target for Tito Vilanova's new Barcelona says a Catalan journal.

Mundo Deportivo reports that Vilanova hopes to reinforce the Barcelona defence this summer, with the Milan centre-back considered to have the right 'profile' for a Barça defender.

Another name on mentioned as being near to the top of the list for the Blaugrana is Javi Martinez, who has played centre-back for Athletic Bilbao under Marcelo Bielsa this season.

Should Thiago Silva make the move to the Camp Nou he would join Dani Alves as the second Brazilian in Barcelona's squad. The players were 1st and 2nd respectively in the voting for the 2011 Samba D'Or award for the best Brazilian in Europe.
