Mourinho gives Real Madrid the thumbs up to sign Lucas Moura - report
The 19-year-old is fast becoming one of the most sought-after players in the world, with the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Barcelona and Inter Milan all believed to be interested in the Brazil international's services.
According to reports from Marca TV, Real Madrid have given up on trying to sign Santos forward, Neymar, but the Spanish giants now want to try and lure the highly-talented Lucas to the Santiago Bernabéu.
It was only last Saturday that the club's president, Florentino Pérez, was spotted showing Lucas' parents around the Bernabéu, but the player's agent, Wagner Ribeiro, moved quickly to deny suggestions that any deal had been struck between his client and Los Blancos.
Lucas is tied down at São Paulo until December 2015, and his contract with the Paulista club includes a €80 million buy-out clause.
