Santos have hit out at CONMEBOL over a lack of action to tackle abusive fans, after Neymar was pelted with stones and a banana in Bolivia.
With Santos in the country to take on Bolivar in the Copa Libertadores, Neymar found himself on the receiving end of missiles thrown by the crowd.
Santos boss Muricy Ramalho was hesitant to connect the incident with racism, but believes that the continent's football governing body must act after the incident.
"What we cannot accept is the treatment that we have received here, Conmebol does not take any sort of stand on this. They threw stones, and a banana at Neymar, which was horrible," the coach complained post-match
"I don't know if it was racism. You will have to tell me that."
