AC Milan defender Thiago Silva set to return to action against Siena

Thiago Silva could return to action for AC Milan's Serie A encounter with Siena this Sunday, according to Tutomercato.

The Brazil international has been sidelined since aggravating an existing thigh problem during the Rossoneri’s 2-1 win over Roma at the San Siro over one month ago.

Siva, 27, returned to training on Monday, but it was not until Thursday that he was able to take part in a practice match alongside his team-mates.

His return will no doubt give AC Milan a huge boost as they currently trail Serie A leaders Juventus by three points with just four games remaining this season.
