Ramires: Don't call me a Chelsea hero
Ramires, 25, scored the goal at the end of the first-half that pulled Chelsea right back into the tie, whilst also producing a tireless display in midfield.
The former-Cruzeiro midfielder insists that it was nothing out of the ordinary.
“Don’t say I’m a hero. On the pitch, I just try my best to help the team," Ramires said post-match.
“We were playing with 10 men, we all showed commitment, dedication, running and looking for the ball and we will go down in history.
“This is a match people will look at years from now, and say ‘that is when Chelsea knocked out Barcelona at their own home’.
“To score a goal is a very special moment for me. Now I’ll be rooting for my team-mates in Munich.
“Our season has not been very good, but we proved we could reach the final.”
