Luis Fabiano targets Brazil recall

São Paulo forward Luis Fabiano has stated his determination to win back a place in the Brazil squad.

The 31-year-old's last appearance for Brazil was in the 2-1 defeat against the Netherlands in the quarter-finals of the 2010 World Cup, but the former Sevilla frontman believes he can get back into the Seleção providing that he plays well for São Paulo.

''It depends on how I play for São Paulo,'' Fabiano told reporters. ''If everything goes well, the tendency is that there will be calls for my return.

''When the opportunity comes, you have to go for it. Returning to the Seleção is one the objectives.''
