Ramires - Chelsea "made history" on Tuesday

Ramires, 25, enjoyed a bittersweet evening, playing an important role in the Chelsea victory, but picking up a yellow card which will see him miss the final.

"We made history, today we made history," an excited Ramires told Globo Esporte.

"Playing with ten, we all had commitment and dedication, we were running ancd chasing. We wrote our names in history.

"They are actions that will look back on in one, two, or three years, and will say: 'Chelsea eliminated Barcelona at their home'."

Ramires scored an important goal at the end of the first-half to set the platform for Chelsea's victory in Catalunya.
