The former Barcelona star has been a vocal critic of the CBF, it"s policies and Brazil manager Mano Menezes and has once more stepped up to the microphone.

“The current team is crap, it would be tough even to get past the first round of the World Cup," Romario began.

“Even the CBF president [Jose Maria Marin] has said that 2014"s Brazil coach cannot be the same one as today"s. There have to be results. We still have two years to prepare so that we don"t suffer total humiliation.

“I do not see it that way. Is it because he still uses a clipboard? There are plenty of people with laptops now, who still do a load of crap and their teams lose," – a direct comment on Mano Menezes" love of technology.
