Palmeiras concentrate on the Copa Libertadores

Palmeiras of São Paulo prepare for its first match of the Copa Libertadores, the equivalent of the Champions League in South America.

The “Verdão”, Palmeiras’s nickname, will play Wednesday against the formidable club of Paraguay, Cerro Porteño.

The club managed by its new coach, Candinho (ex-Portuguesa and Corinthians), have prepared since Friday in Itu, the city where Palmeiras will play against the local club, Ituano, today.
