Ânderson, Carlos Tevez and Jô all scored to guarantee Corinthians a place in the second round of the Copa do Brasil. It was a largely dull game only Carlos Tevez seem to shine orchestrating one goal and been involved in the others. But Corinthians seemed to have recovered after their weekend defeat to Santos and will be pleased with the result if not the performance.
