Rivaldo unhappy in Angola

The Angolan press is reporting that Rivaldo has become unhappy with life in the country, following a series of contractual clauses that have failed to be fulfilled.

Rivaldo has been absent from training for a few days and the press are starting to suspect their is something more to the situation.

"His absence is always noticeable in the field, since, in addition to assuming the role of captain of the group, he is the most media-friendly player in the squad, a fact which focuses the attention of fans," said the country's biggest sports paper, Jornal dos Desportos.

However the club, Kabuscorp, were quick to issue the following statement:

"We complied with all the contractual terms. We will not pass comment on this story in order not to destabilise the team ahead of a big game."
