Jobson, who helped Botafogo avoid relegation in 2010, has a tough task to regain a first-team spot ahead of Loco Abreu and the in-form Herrera, but his return gives the Alvinegro another talented option in their increasingly strong attack.
“Botafogo have worked hard to reintegrate Jobson,” said Director of Football, Anderson Barros. “We are gambling on a player of great potential. He had troubles and he knows that.
“The end of this punishment is one more step in his road back and now he must fight for place in the team.”
Jobson scored six goals in 15 loan appearances at Bahia last season, before disciplinary issues saw that spell cut short.
