São Paulo midfielder Casemiro has today stated his belief that the squad Brazil can call-upon for the Olympics is the best in the history of the competition.
The 20-year-old Casemiro looks set to join up with the party in London and will have a chance to impress European suitors alongside the likes of Neymar, Lucas Moura and Leandro Damião in the prestigious sport event.
“I think is the best group ever assembled, the strongest,” said the São Paulo midfielder. “There are players who are in the main quad and Olympic squad.
“If you stop to think about it, you can make a strong group without having the three over-age athletes.”
