After hours of meetings with Palmeiras on Monday, the agent of Werder Bremen midfielder Wesley confirmed that the two parties had yet to come to a consensus on salary.
The player is in Brazil and a fee of €6 million has been agreed between the two clubs, it is simply personal terms that are delaying the deal.
"There are still issues between Wesley and Palmeiras, but it is almost certain," said the player's agent to Lancenet!. "It was a good meeting and the player came out optimistic. We hope to sign on Wednesday."
The club is also hoping to secure an investor to help with the three €2 million payments for the player that they have agreed with Werder Bremen.
