Santos agree loan-deal for former Arsenal youngster Juan

São Paulo left full-back and midfielder, Juan, is set to join Santos on a season-long loan which will provide the Peixe experienced cover for the injured Léo.

Juan, 30, who spent three years at London club Arsenal, before appearing for Fluminense, Flamengo and more recently São Paulo, provides a wealth of know-how for Santos, in a position where they have been forced to adapt in recent times.

With the signing of Bruno Cortez, opportunities in the São Paulo first-team were limited this season and thus, Juan has chosen to move on loan to the Vila Belmiro.
