Arsenal's Wellington Silva joins Alcoyano on loan

Arsenal starlet Wellington Silva has joined Spanish side Alcoyano on loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year old forward was initially supposed to play for La Liga outfit Levante until the end of the season, but had his loan spell cut short having failed to get regular first-team football under coach Juan Ignacio Martinez.

Instead of returning to Arsenal, coach Arsene Wenger has immediately sent Wellington back out on loan in hope that Spanish second division side Alcoyano will give him more opportunities.
