Defender Roger signs on at Celta

Defender Roger has expressed delight at signing for Celta Vigo. The full back

has signed a loan deal until the end of the season from Corinthians and has

an option to make the move permanent if he impresses. Roger has recently been

playing for Flamengo but is relishing the prospect of showcasing his talents

in Spain. “Celta are one of the best teams in Spain and many people in Brazil

didn’t know they had been relegated to the Second Division,” said Roger.

Brazilians like Celta because many players from our country play there and I

hope that everything goes okay because I wish to play for Celta for at least

four or five years.”
