Malaga have finally clinched the signing of Brazilian striker Fernando Baiano.

The Primera outfit have been in negotiations with Baiano’s club Sao Caetano for the past couple of weeks, and have now concluded a deal.

The 25-year-old will join on an initial loan deal until the end of the season, with an option to complete a permanent €3 million transfer in the summer.

The capture of Baiano completes Malaga’s transfer window activity with the Andaluisian outfit having brought in two new strikers.

The club are facing a battle against relegation in the second half of the season and wanted to bolster their strike-force, and have now done so following the arrival of Tote from Real Betis, and now Baiano.
