Luis has played a key role in helping Vasco become the Copa do Brasil champions earlier in year, and now the Carioca club will be without one of their star men in their Copa Sudamericana campaign and their last two remaining league fixtures, where they have a chance on winning the title.
Vasco’s doctor, Clovis Munhoz, confirmed Eder Luis’ will have an opporation on his injury on Friday and his recovery will take up to forty five to sixty days.
