With just three games remaining in the Campeonato Brasileiro, Corinthians currently sit in top spot with a two point advantage over second placed Vasco.

Former Portuguese international, Liedson, has played a key role in helping Corinthians get to within touching distance on claiming their fifth league title, racking up a total of ten league goals in the process.

Since arriving at Corinhtians in February, the thirty three year old has had to miss out on a number of games for the Paulista club, after experiencing some recurring pain his left knee that has previously been operated on.

However, despite the injury concerns, Liedson insists he’s motivated for Corinthians three remaining fixtures and is available for selection should coach Tite wish to need his services.

”I’m here to help” said the former Portuguese international. ”I’m only thinking about the title I’m focusing on these three remaining games. We have suffered so much through the season and now there’s not long to go now, so let’s stay focused.”
