Corinthians to derail Kléber move to Grêmio

Kléber's move to Grêmio had looked done-and-dusted, but reports are emerging from Brazil that Corinthians are set to come in with a last minute offer to tempt the Palmeiras star.

Marca Brasil report that Corinthians will table a £1.7million offer for the wantaway striker - a bid that city rivals Palmeiras may be forced to to accept.

It is nearly £500,000 higher than the Grêmio bid, although the Gaúcho side are including striker André Lima in their offer. However, Palmeiras could well find the extra cash more enticing.
