Paulinho has attracted attention from top European sides over the past few months and with Corinthians owning just 10% of the player’s economic rights, they are powerless to resist any incoming bid.
The remaining 90% is split equally between two investment groups, Banco BMG and Grupo Pão de Açúcar. It is believed that these investors would accept a bid of around €10 million, with Corinthians having to comply for a meagre €1 millon.
Thus, the São Paulo club are already planning possible replacements, with Roma’s Fabio Simplicio and Portuguesa’s William the top targets.
