Fred scores hat-trick to sink Coritiba

Fred has been in fine form for Fluminense in recent times - Photocamera
Much-maligned Seleção striker Fred scored a stunning hat-trick against Coritiba to lift Fluminense into 6th spot just four points off top.

The highlight of the three goals was the opening goal of the game, which having received the ball from the flanks, Fred chested the ball up and finished with an exquisite overhead into the far corner.

The Rio giants, champions in 2010, are making a late charge for the title and with Fred in this kind of form they have one of the top strikers in Brazil on their hands.
