Botafogo will face Colombian side Santa Fe, with the first leg on September 29, while Vasco da Gama’s first leg against Bolivia’s Club Aurora is on October 5.

Flamengo have a tricky tie aginst Universidad de Chile also on October 5, and Sao Paulo have been paired up with Paraguayan opposition in Libertad, with the first game to be played on October 19.

The Copa Sudamericana is South America’s second most prestigious continental competiton behind the Copa Libertadores, and was won by Argentine side Independiente in 2010.
