Love has been with CSKA since 2004, but now Yevgeny Giner has admitted that the 27-year-old is set for an imminent departure and should leave before the end of the year.

Speaking to Sport Express, Giner said: “We really intend to let Vagner go – after eight [sic] years spent in one place abroad you really need to change the team.

“The negotiations will begin in November, when we will understand what players are leaving, what we need to change and which problems we need to solve in the near future," he added.

Love began his career with Palmeiras in 2002, and two years later signed for CSKA. He scored in the 2005 UEFA Cup final, and has also won the Russian Premier League, the Russian Cup and the Russian Super Cup.

He was top scorer in the Russian Premier League in 2008, but has often been unsettled during his time in Moscow, and has had loan spells back to Brazil with former club Palmeiras as well as Flamengo.
