Internazionale are closing in on Brazilian goalkeeper Julio Cesar.
The Flamengo shot-stopper was not thought to be too keen on a move to Europe, but it now seems he is on the verge of moving to Serie A.
The keeper’s agent, Josias Cardosa, says that Cesar just has to complete a medical to seal a move to Milan.
“The negotiations are at an advanced stage,” Josias Cardoso told Brazilian radio. “Now the player will undergo a medical examination.”
Julio Cesar has agreed on a three-year deal with Roberto Mancini’s side, after also attracting interest from Atletico Madrid and Brescia.
Cesar will join former Flamengo team-mate Adriano at Giuseppe Meazza, and will battle Francesco Toldo for the number one jersey after the Italian has endured a mixed start to the season.
