Fluminense travelled to the Mineirao this week and won 2-1 quite easily highlighting problems across the pitch.
Midfielder Roger played in the game and believes the main problems in the side are to do with consistency and in attack.
Roger told reporters: “We have been embarressed this year and I think it is down to the attackers being changed to much.
“They need more match practice together. It is a tricky situation because we have not found a suitasble pair in attack yet and we are suffering from it.
“We have quality players, but the turnover is high.”
Cruzeiro have suffered from injuries to Brandao and Thiago Ribeiro while Kerrison has struggled to settle at the club since his loan move from Barcelona, according to reports.
Cruzeiro are set to bring Anselmo Ramon back into the squad following his loan move at Serie D side Oeste.
Midfielder Marquinhos Parana also believes their is problems with the team, citing the need for improvement in all areas.
Marquinhos said: “We have been concerned for a long time as for some time this year the team does not show good football.
“When we won, we were tight at the back.We were good against Vasco and Avai but we nee dto improve in all aspects.”
