The Bianconari were reportedly close to signing the Brazilian but it seems that Sao Paulo aren’t prepared to let him go before the end of the transfer window.
Sao Paulo sporting director Adelberto Baptista has confirmed that the club won’t be selling Rhodolfo any time soon.
Baptista told the club’s official website: “The club can exclude the possibility of any negotiations for Rhodolfo during this transfer window.
“I have already met with the player and I told him that he is very important to this squad.
“He is fundamental for us reaching our objectives. He understood and agreed to continue his adventure here.”
