League leaders Corinthians went in front on 18 minutes with a goal from Emerson. Palmeiras equalised nine minutes before the break through Luan and secured victory when Fernandão made it 2-1 with 55 minutes gone.
Flamengo 0-0 Vasco da Gama
Flamengo missed the chance to go top as they were held to a goalless draw at home to Vasco. Welinton was sent off for the hosts shortly before half-time.
Santos 1-1 Sao Paulo
Carlinhos Paraiba was sent off for Sao Paulo on 27 minutes, but that didn’t stop them from taking the lead through Lucas on the stroke of half-time. It looked like being enough for the visitors, but Ganso levelled the scores for Santos with ten minutes to play.
