Stoke and Birmingham turn down Brazilian trialist

Stoke City and Birmingham City have both turned down the opportunity to sign Brazilian midfielder Radames da Silva.

The 25-year-old, who started his career at Fluminense, spent time at Stoke earlier this month and played in Birmingham's friendly against Tottenham.

He also had a trial at Swansea but has failed to secure a contract with any of the clubs.
