The 31-year-old striker has a contract with Juventus that runs until 2012, but is surplus to requirements at the club and spent the second half of last season on loan at Parma.
His agent, Giampiero Pocetta, told Calciomercato.it: “Marseille are one of many teams that are interested in signing Amauri. They have asked for information about him, but have not yet made their interest concrete.”
Amauri, who was born in Brazil but has played once for Italy after gaining citizenship, has also been linked with a move to the Premier League.
