Lucas fighting to be a titular

The spots on Mano Menezes’ starting eleven are difficult to get. Lucas, Sao Paulo, is participating in his first major tournament with Brazil and he told the Brazilian media how happy he was to be in the group and how he hopes he will be a titular.

“In Sao Paulo I play in the same position as Robinho,” he said. “But we can play together as well: it is the coach’s choice. I will play where he asks me to play. My objective was to be in the group now I’ll fight to find my place in the team.”
