The 23-year-old has agreed to move to Italian side Genoa after the completion of the Libertadores, and today spoke of his desire to sign off in Brazil with a win.
“Getting to this new adventure in Italy with Genoa with the Libertadores title in my pocket would be a good business card and help me to face my new start with morale in the clouds,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
Ze Eduardo also added that he was confident he would settle well in Italy, continuing: “In Italy the football is well suited to my characteristics, since the physical aspect is very important.
“I am a striker who is well respected on the field. I am convinced that I will adapt quickly to the team and soon I will feel very comfortable,” he concluded.
