Real Madrid’s answer

One day after Mano Menezes announcement that he didn’t call Marcelo to the Selecao because the player had prioritised his club and lied to the Brazilian staff, Real Madrid published a press release in which they defend the player.

The press release says that Marcelo didn’t fake his injury. That he already had suffered a similar injury and only came back to the competition on the 2nd of April.
