What motivated me was the homesickness for my country. My exit from Italy was for a different reason.

What are your thoughts on the environment at Fluminense and the structure of the team?

Tuta

The structure is wonderful and the environment also. The club is like a family for me. I’m very thankful for the support that we have from the staff and coach.

You have worked with many different coaches. What do you think of Abel Braga, and what are his main qualities?

Tuta

He is always very strict as a coach, very sincere; it is his character. It is always very important that the coach says the truth and displays what he feels in relation to the team.

What you think about Brazil’s defenders and who has made you work extra hard this year?

Tuta

The Brazilian defenders are very good. The ones that give me the most trouble are those that don’t let me score goals!

At which club would you like to retire?

Tuta

It would have to be Fluminense. The club has a wonderful environment, relaxed, plays wonderfully and is home for me.
