Former France international Nicolas Anelka admits he is unsure what his future holds.
The 35 year-old had his contract terminated by West Bromwich Albion for gross misconduct in February and has been without a club since.
Reports today suggested Atlético Mineiro may be interested in offering him a deal, but Anelka does not expect to join a new team until next season.
“I am not specifically looking for a club but I am receiving offers and the least I can do is check them,” he Metro.
“I haven’t decided anything yet. My contract with WBA officially ended on 29 March and bar a miracle, there won’t be any new challenge before the next season starts, be it in Europe or in a exotic country.”
